BSA ASEAN Safeguard Campaign
This week, BSA launched a digital marketing and communications initiative in Southeast Asia to raise awareness about the cybersecurity risks of using unlicensed software. The initiative is called ASEAN Safeguard as part of BSA’s Legalize and Protect campaign. BSA Senior Director Tarun Sawney led virtual press briefings for nearly 50 journalists in Southeast Asia with the goal of helping business leaders understand the massive risks faced as a result of using unlicensed software in business operations and the business continuity benefits of using licensed software, particularly in the COVID environment, in which millions of employees are working remotely. BSA is partnering with IP and cybercrime officials in governments throughout the region for this campaign.
