Strong Enforcement Result for Member in Spain

BSA recently settled an enforcement case following a civil inspection of an engineering company in Spain. Notably, as part of the end user’s legalization efforts, it purchased approximately $120K of member software. BSA learned about this company’s infringement from an anonymous whistleblower who submitted information to BSA’s reporting forms as a result of BSA’s digital lead generation efforts.
