BSA Generates Over $200K Legalization Sale for Member in South Korea

Earlier this year, BSA investigated a company in South Korea using unlicensed member software. Although the company initially refused to work with BSA, our team was able to persuade the company to engage following BSA’s successful application for a warrant from the Prosecution service. Last week, after careful negotiations by the BSA team, the infringing company agreed to a settlement resulting in a legalization purchase of over USD$200K and a smaller amount in damages.
