Kenji Tomizawa leads BSA’s Compliance Solutions activities in Japan, including end-user copyright enforcement, programs to promote software license compliance, and efforts to raise awareness of the importance of software asset management.
Prior to joining BSA, Tomizawa served as the Legal Director for DiDi Mobility Japan Corp. and DiDi Food Japan Corp. Prior to that time, he served as Director, Legal Affairs-Asia Pacific Japan at Ansys and BEA Systems, where he represented these companies on BSA committees in Japan. Additionally, he worked in legal and other capacities at SECOM.
Tomizawa earned an LL.M. from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University, Japan Campus, as well as a Master of Laws (Public Law major) and a Bachelor of Laws from Nihon University.
He is a member of several legal academic/professional societies and associations, including The Criminal Law Society of Japan, The Japan Association of Economic Law, The Law and Computers Association of Japan, The Japanese Association of Sociological Criminology, and The Japanese Association of Victimology.
