Unlicensed and counterfeit software is a global problem. It puts your customers at risk of malware incursions, ransomware attacks, and other critical security threats, costing them hundreds of billions of dollars a year. Strong software asset management (“SAM”) practices can help protect companies from these risks while optimizing their IT asset investments. BSA supports our members by partnering with key stakeholders around the world to raise awareness of these issues and drive license compliance through sound IT procurement.
