Joca Teixeira conducts the business development and strategy for BSA’s License Compliance Services (LCS) program. He manages a global team across multiple regions and develops efficient B2B license compliance solutions to copyright infringement challenges for BSA member companies. Teixeira’s work involves program design, sales, and implementation of revenue growth solutions that drive produce significant results to members. Teixeira’s expertise also centers on implementing solid IT infrastructures for businesses through result-driven strategies in the areas of software licensing management, software asset management (“SAM”), cybersecurity solutions, and training.
During his time at BSA, Teixeira has established a reputation for client growth via market expansion and new product development. In his leadership role, Teixeira develops and manages strategic alliances that benefit BSA and its members by identifying and attracting new partnership opportunities in each market.
Before joining BSA, Teixeira led multinational teams at IBM, HP, and Microsoft, where he helped companies manage gross sales and net income and develop sales expansion and customer satisfaction strategies with business partners. In these roles, he managed high-revenue businesses by generating growth through SAM and license compliance programs.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in data processing from the Universidade Mackenzie and an MBA from Faculdades Getulio Vargas, both in São Paulo, Brazil.
